Golden Sun walkthrough 

 

1. Vale (at the beginning)
   • Talk to Garet
   • Head to the house with the dock.
   • Talk to the people then head to the Psyenergy stone.
   • Return to the house with dock.

2. Vale (Three years later)
   • Go to Kradens House and speak to him.
   • Head to Sol Sanctum.

3. Sol Sanctum
   • Solve the puzzle to enter the inner sanctum.
   • Retrieve the elemental stars.

4. Vault
   • Collect the Venus Djinn right outside of Vale.
   • Talk to Ivan and trap the thieves in the inn.
   • Battle the bandit and thieves in the attic of the inn.

5. Goma Cave
   • Collect a Mars Djinn called Forge.

6. Bilibin
   • Collect a Jupiter Djinn named Gust.
   • Speak to Lord McCoy.

7. Bilibin Barricade
   • Find a way to enter through the barricade.
   • Save the tree that is caught in the water.

8. Kolima Forest
   • Get the Fur Coat
   • Speak to the large trees.

9. Tret Tree
   • Collect the Jupiter Djinn Breeze
   • Defeat Tret

10. Bilibin Cave
    • Collect the Elven Rapier

11. Imil
    • Collect the Mars Djinn Fever.
    • Speak to Mia and get the Empty Bottle in the chest.

12. Mercury Lighthouse
    • Help Mia.
    • Find the Mercury Djinn Sleet.
    • Defeat Saturos on the top of the lighthouse
    • Fill the Bottle with water from the fountain
    • Return to Kolima Forest and give the water to Tret.
    • Return to Bilibin and talk to Lord McCoy.

13. Kolima
    • Get the Venus Djinni Granite

14. Fuchin Temple
    • Find the master of the Fuchin Temple then use Mind Read on him.
    • Enter the Cave.
    • Collect a Jupiter Djinn named Zephyr.
    • Obtain the Dragons Eye.
    • Collect the Orb of Force.

15. Mogall Forest
    • Use The Orb of Force on tree stumps to navigate the forest.
    • Find the Venus Djinni Quartz.
    • Defeat the Killer Ape

16. Xian
    • Use Force to know the stump over inside the Dojo.
    • Collect the Mercury Djinn Mist.

17. North of Xian
    • Collect the Mars Djinn Corona.

18. Alpine Crossing
    • Collect the Power Bread (need growth)

19. Atlin
    • Defeat all the Living Statues
    • Collect the Mercury Djinn Spritz.
    • Defeat the Hydros Statue and collect the Lift psynergy.
    • Return to the entrance of the cave and use Lift on the boulder.

20. Lama Temple
    • Have Master Hama teach you Reveal.
    • Return to Alpine Crossing and help Hsu.

21. Lamakan Desert
    • Use Reveal inside the stone circles to find oases.
    • Collect the Jupiter Djinn Smog.
    • Defeat the Manticore.

22. Small Island outside desert
    • Collect the Venus Djinn Vine.

23. Kalay
    • Speak to Lady Layana inside Kalay Palace.
    • Watch the Tour Group leave.
    • Collect the Mars Djinn Scorch inside the Kalay Tunnels.

24. Return to Vault
    • Collect the Venus Djinn Sap.

25. Return to Vale
    • Collect the psynergy Halt in the cave behind Kradens house
    • Collect the Jupiter Djinn Kite inside that cave.

26. The Kalay Docks
    • Buy a ticket for the ship.
    • Find the Captains Anchor Charm
    • Defeat the enemies that board the ship and find rowers to replace those lost.
    • Defeat The Kraken.
    • After disembarking, walk around the north side of the sea then enter the docks from the north side to get the Venus Djinn Ground.

27. Tolbi
    • Learn that the leader Babi has disappeared.
    • Find the Mars Djinn Ember.
    • Use all the lucky medals you collected at the fountain.

28. Overworld
    • Cross the bridge west of Tolbi, then walk north and cross a second bridge to your left to find the Mercury Djinn Hail.

29. Altmiller Cave
    • Talk to a mysterious man inside the cave and undertake his errand.
    • Find the Jupiter Djinn Squall.
    • Find the Mystic Draught.
    • Return the Mystic Draught to the mystery man.

30. Colosso
    • Place your friends in strategic places so they can help you cheat.
    • Win the tournament.
    • After winning talk to Babi then go downstairs to receive the Cloak Ball.

31. Gondowan Cave
    • Make your way through the cave.

32. Lunpa
    • Open the door using Frost.
    • Sneak into the Fortress using Cloak and staying in the shadows.
    • Find Hammet inside the Fortress
    • Defeat Toadonpa.
    • After defeating Toadonpa return to talk to Donpa and receive the Mercury Djinn Tonic.

33. Suhalla Village
    • Talk to the wounded soldiers

34. Suhalla Desert
    • Use Douse after walking inside a tornado and then fight a Tornado Lizard.
    • Find the Mars Djinn Flash (awesome Djinn)
    • Defeat the Strom Lizard.

35. Suhalla Gate
    • Slide down the third slide to reach the Mercury Djinn Dew.

36. Venus Lighthouse Entrance
    • Use Reveal in the second room to find the Carry psynergy. (If you want to you can now go to Crossbone Island, but Id finish getting all the Djinn. Also there is a tornado in Suhalla Desert you use to get to Crossbone Island.
    • Speak to the statue to choose a path inside Babis Lighthouse. The left side is harder but has hidden treasures. The middle is very straightforward.

37. Lalivero
    • Collect the Mars Djinn Torch.

38. To Babis Lighthouse
    • Collect the Jupiter Djinn Luff.

39. Tunnel Ruins
    • Lights were on the Left Side
      1. Use Tornado on the ivy so you can push the blocks around to find an exit.
      2. Place the Carry Stones on the Scale to balance a path to walk on.
      3. Figure out the Statue Puzzle (Hint: Mind Read the Statues and Gold is the middle)
    • Light were on the Middle
      1. Use Douse on the Pillars so you can jump across.
      2. Push the pillar into the right spot then use Douse then Frost on it.
      3. Figure out the Statue Puzzle (Hint: Mind Read the Statues and Gold is the middle)

40. Top Section of Venus Lighthouse
    • Change the Sand Paths and add new Sand Paths so you can cross otherwise unreachable gaps and reach new areas.
    • Reach the Lighthouse Aerie.
    • Defeat Saturos and Menardi.
    • Defeat the Fusion Dragon.
