I'm getting sick of that line. Yeah...it's from the show Yu-gi-oh. It gets so annoying. It's pretty much the reason I stoped watching the show. Heres the stuff on Yu-gi-oh. Basically this freshman in highschool named Yugi (he looks remarkibly like a leprachaun) is given an ancient puzzle called the "Millenium Puzzle" from his grandfather and solves it. It causes him to become the best game player in the world. No matter what game, board, card, or video game, he always wins (unless his friends are threatened). He becomes obssesed with this card game and basically thats what the whole show is about. Then this guy who also has a "Millenium Eye" kidnaps Yugi's grandpa in a card. Yugi and his friends go to this island for a tournament where his grandfather is being held. His friends go to support him. After he saves his grandfather he competes in another tounament call Battle City and thats where the show is now. Pretty ok story right? The only problem, which is a major problem, is that all they ever talk about is, friendship, treating your cards with respect, and this "heart of the cards". They had to ruin this perfectly good storyline. Now I've seent the japanese version and man, they have got all the good stuff. Violence, bloodshed, and more...well...lets just say bad content. It's so much better than the one we have in the USA. It's made for Teens, not two year olds. Now don't get me wrong, the japanese version is a little sicker, and a moments you don't want to watch, I'm just glad all of the clips I've downloaded don't have that stuff. Like (if you don't want to be grossed out, don't read):
Bakura kills Pegasus, and then rips his eye out. There's blood all over it and Bakura licks it off. Then he says "not even this blood can quent my thirst for death" or something like that.
(Ok, you can read again). If you read that, see what I mean? Disgusting. But its still better than "the heart of the cards". Thats about all I can say for this rant. Btw, if your a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, just know, that I was one too. And I'm not totally dissing the show, just the kiddish parts.
