Systems: ALL

This is the sequel to the game NBA Street. It is out for all the systems too. What makes this game good is its simple controls and replay value. Also it seems to improve on almost everything the first one failed at. All grades are out of 10

Graphics-8:

No great new amazing graphics here, pretty simple stuff. They do put nice detail into the characters but there are small problems with the graphics. Like alley-oops. When you do an alley-oop the person who finishes it literally goes through the hoop. But when you do your tricks the ball doesnt do something like go through your leg. Thats a plus.

Challenge-4 (except on Legendary difficulty then it is an 10.)

You could beat this game and unlock everything in one rental period if you wanted to. But thats not a bad thing. You could do the same for Super Smash Bros. Melee. Of course like Super Smash, the hardest difficulty is insane. On Legendary the computer makes every three-pointer and you miss almost all of yours. So normally I steer away from the Legendary difficulty. What keeps you coming back is the replay.

Replay-10:

This game has an amazing replay. With thousands of combos and hundreds of trick moves, youll want to see them all. There are also 9 or 10 different level 2 Gamebreakers. Also you can play until you are able to beat Legendary on a regular basis, or build the perfect team. There are also around 6 different game modes to play so you can vary up your style of play. Games range from you trying to reach a certain score, to trying to obtain a set number of tricks, to not allowing any shots to count but dunks.

Controls-9:

Simple controls that make it easy to pick up the game and be good in 3 games. I havent played it on the X-Box controller, but Im sure it is hard since the controller was built for an octopus. On the Gamecube and Playstation 2 though, you can pick up the controller and do most of the tricks and dunks.

Fun Factor-9:

Because the game is so easy the games Fun Factor is detracted, but the replay keeps you coming back for more. Its so much fun to have someone pump fake your opponent so he try to block you, then go up for a dunk and knock the guy on his butt. Or, to do a two-handed block so you can instantly take control of the ball.

Overall-8:

Overall this game is pretty sweet. If you have some money to burn and are looking for a good, larger-than-life basketball game, get this one. With 77 unlockables, 100s of tricks, 1000s of combos, and a good multiplayer (better than most sports games) youll be playing this game for a while, especially if you have friends over often. The best parts of this game are its easy controls and amazing replay value.
