Plot: 8/10
Very good plot. It has all you want in an RPG. A way to follow the story line perfectly or if you want, skip around a little bit. You can go to Imil before Kolima forest if you want, although specifically your supposed to go to Kolima first. This leaves room for flexability. The only problem I found with the plot was that you had to go through many lengthy conversations to get the full scoop on whats going on. 8/10
Graphics: 10/10
The graphics are most definatly the best part of this game. For a Gameboy Advance game, it has graphics that could out-do some Nintendo 64 games. The in battle Graphics were great. The overworld graphics were great, everything in this game looked great. Thats why this catagory got a 10.
Sound: 9/10
There was great sound in this game, no doubt about that. the only problem I found, was that the music was kind of repetitive. It didn't offer us as many battle mucis as The Lost Age did, but it's still good music. 9/10
Battling: 9/10
The fighting in this game was pretty good. It was easy to understand and didn't a huge amount of menus you had to go through. You just had, Attack, Psynergy, Djinn, Summon, Item, and Defend. Thats pretty simple. The graphics were great for fighting, like when you unleashed summons they almost looked real. The only drawback is that when you don't level up, your attacks will stay the same, and you'll get so repetitive with your battle stratigies, you'll go up against a huge boss and that stratagy won't work. You'll be flatened like a pancake. Bright side to that is, instead of game over, you just return to the last sanctum you were in. 9/10
Overall: 3.6/4
Golden Sun is a great game. It is totally recomended for any RPG lover.
